When going weeks and sometimes months without washing your hair (protective styling of course), you scalp can become pretty itchy! It’s still summertime and I know most of us are rocking some form of protective style while we attempt to live our blessed life. I mean best life. I’m trying my hardest not to take out my box braids as we speak. That itch is something serious! If you were wondering how to give your scalp a little relief while you let your tresses flourish, I’ve created a short and sweet list of my favorite tea tree shampoos that your scalp will thank you for!
Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat
The Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat Invigorating Shampoo will not only get your tongue tied, but leave your roots feeling refreshed and hydrated. This was my go-to shampoo when I did my very first big chop and I swear by it today. You can find this brand at Walmart, Walgreens, and Amazon for sure.
Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Tingle Shampoo
Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Tingle has been one of my new favs. I’m not going to lie, it smells and feels just like the Giovanni brand. This one also comes with a complementing conditioner as well. As far as I know, you can only find this shampoo at Trader Joe’s. There may be a chance you can find it on Ebay if you don’t have a location near you.
Dr. Bronner’s Tea Tree Castille Soap
Dr. Bronner’s Castille Soap is in a world of its own
